Cold nights

One of the things I love most about my house is the real fire in the basement - and it seems that Natty is a bit of a fan too! Here she is toasting away after school on a cold January evening!

Tracey's Socks

Made some socks for my friend Tracey and had enough left over for a pair of baby booties. Bog standard stocking stitch sock but done on 2 circulars instead of 4 dpns. Am loving the circulars as the picked up stitches on the heel flap and the gusset decreases are sooo neat when done this way. I could be a convert!

Bootiful Booties

A colleague at work has just had a baby girl so I have found a use for some sock wool that was left over when I finished Tracey's socks.

Huge cute factor I think. Used Christines's Baby Booties pattern and added k2p2 rib at the top. Made some i-cord laces and am very pleased with how they turned out.
